Lauren Harris is a nonfiction video director and producer based in New York City. With over a decade of experience, her work is hallmarked by transportive and thoughtful character-driven storytelling. Lauren has served as producer on docuseries including Hollywood Hustler: Glitz, Glam, Scam (Amazon Prime Video, 2025), and #CyberSleuths: The Idaho Murders (Paramount+, 2023), with both reaching their platform’s “Top Ten” list upon release. Her directorial debut, Million Dollar Pudding, is in production. Lauren holds a BA in political studies and international affairs from Bard College (2014) and a MS in journalism from Columbia Journalism School (2026), where she specialized in documentary. While at Columbia, she created Spread, an award-winning initiative connecting newsrooms with social video creators to reach new audiences.
